Learning to Write #25
Discipline, practice, discipline. That’s what I keep reminding myself of and forgetting about again. So…. this was kind of my day in Tanka. First of all, a cereal disaster! Crossing the granola boundaries and mixing cereal. Like putting rice krispies in your cornflakes packet by accident. No!
Then a reminder of how life gives us lessons, that we fail to learn, and the phrase “I’d do it all again if I could just remember all the lessons I learnt the first time”. Yeah right. We’d fall down the same potholes in exactly the same way.
And finally, I am comfortable with the ghosts of my past. It’s the fear of loosing the people I have now, the certainty that I will lose them. That’s what haunts me.
