Screen Burn

Learning to Write #8

screen

Screen burn is something that people will forget about, as they simply don’t have to worry about it any more. It’s like R Tape loading errors, or the holes on the edges of the old folding printer paper – lost concepts in the history of modern tech. uudecode and uuencode. Those were happy days.

This is a short poem about staying too long in a place that isn’t good for you. I think it might have some further drafting in it, but we’ll see. I did actually burn an image into a trade show display screen, showing off some RFID access control kit to a courier company. Way back in the mid 2000’s.
